Brecon Beacons Climbing & Mountaineering Club is a “British Mountaineering Club” (BMC) affiliated club. We draw the attention of prospective members to the BMC participation statement:
 “The BMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”


Membership rates for 2026:
– Adults £35
– Child (between 11 and 18 years) £31
– Student (full time) £31


Fees must be paid via BACS.
All memberships will be due for renewal in January.

I wish to apply for membership of Brecon Beacons Climbing & Mountaineering Club. I am over 18 and I have read and accept the BMC participation statement (top of page). I shall be responsible for my own actions and involvement and I agree to abide by the constitution and rules of the club.
In Brecon Beacons Climbing & Mountaineering Club, we take the privacy of our members’ data seriously and will only use your personal information for club administration purposes and for communicating with you about your membership. Only the membership secretary and treasurer will be able to access your details.
As a BMC-affiliated club we will provide your name, contact details and date of birth to the BMC to administer your membership of the BMC including your combined liability insurance cover. The BMC will use your data to communicate with you about your membership. The BMC will contact you to invite you to create a ‘Member Profile’ which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings. Please note that membership will only be accepted on receipt of the applicable payment into the club bank account.
